Chapter 1

After reading and reviewing chapter 1 of the text, it is interesting to see how many different aspects are included in the process of business communication. Whether it is internal communication or external communication, many guidelines must be filled to ensure that the communication is efficient and effective. By presenting the information you would like to get across in a concise and practical way, your audience will be able to decipher and act upon the ideas you present. Although each of these points are important to consider, you also must consider the cultural context of the audience to which you are presenting your information. If you are not sensitive to different cultures that may be present in your audience, the information you are trying to present may be lost due to a lack of being prepared for your audience. Each of these points must be followed to undergo successful business communiation.
